I am trying to change my storefront name as I have changed my ebay Id and would like my new storefront to have the same name as my user id. I figured out I have to close my account,I haven't used it for quite awhile, as the log in say's my email address is already being used, because my email address is the same.
So how do I close my account, I couldn't find it. And once this account is closed, can I simply reopen a new one with my new user id and same email address?

Hello starrr222,
Confirm with us that you would like to close this account out, and we will do so for you. Once closed, you can open your new one using the same default email address as this.

Christopher, where do I confirm that I would like to close this account? If it is here, then yes, I would like to close it to reopen a new account. Thanks!
If you want to close out your account and open the new one, send an email to [email protected] requesting account closure and it will be taken care of for you.

I have sent 2 emails to close my account in order to open a new one and have gotten no answer as yet. How long does it take to close an account? I am eagerly waiting to open a new account so I can start listing.
