In an earlier post, I was advised that my request for store categories to be extended to auction items would be passed along to someone. I am surprised that no other AW users have not requested the same.
Currently, I am on hold and hesitate to expand the categories or items in my store until I can receive some form of a commitment to extending the categories to auctions. Further, I am also unsure why no one has mentioned the problem with totals which are displayed on the site. For example, the total of "all items" does not include the items at auction, yet, when "all items" is accessed, all items, even auction items, are displayed.
Before the great upgrade, we could display auction categories and a rudementary store category, which many times did not match. We now have our own store categories and no auction categories. However, the items at auction can be filed by store category in inventory.
I believe in the AW system. That is why I have posted my comments here. I also have an eBay storefront which may help me with eBay, but precludes whatever Yahoo or Amazon shoppers there may be.
This is the real strength of AW. As a seller, I had hoped that I could post auctions at the three auctions, and at my store front. Furthermore, the browsers, shoppers, and buyers could then access my store and shop by category and view the items they seek by category not auction house.
How about an honest appraisal of when if ever we can expect to have store categories extended to auction.

Hi Kozersky,
I do not know if or when this would be made available -- the only thing that I can do is pass your thread on to Product Development again about wanting the auction and stores categories integrated.
