I'm using the Promote Items function and I was wondering, if I eventually sell out on an item and I delete that specific item from my inventory, will it also be deleted from all the places where I tacked it on as a promotion?

Hi Greg,
It doesn't delete itself from the cross sell set up that you have done in your inventory, but when people go to purchase the item that has it set up as the cross sell item, it won't show up because it is no longer available in your store for sale. If you make the item available again, it will show up.

So I would actually have a lot of "dead links" basically unless I manually remove it from every other item that I had cross-linked it too.
Wow... I'll have to rethink that. The majority of my items are "one-only" being the vintage ads they are.
The promotion is great, but if I delete an inventory item it will leave a lot of loose ends dangling out there.
Suggestion to Development: Code to delete all cross-linked inventory items ONLY when said inventory item is deleted from main inventory.
