I would like to suggest an automated notification in post-sale management for sending out a notice to Deadbeats that the transaction (Store or Auction) has been cancelled and item returned to stock.

No one likes to generate this type of email, but unfortunately it MUST be sent and quite often.

As with the other post-sale emails, this should be able to be edited by the seller and set to go out automatically if desired to align with a seller's "payment must be received no later than" policy.

I understand not everyone would utilize this, just like not everyone uses all of the other post-sale options, but in my forward thinking if a person has no intention of paying for an order or an auction there needs to be a termination email in the post-sale management.

In an ideal world, generating this "final" email to a deadbeat would also trigger the following events:

a. Return the item to inventory for store items and available for purchase.
b. Automatically request a refund for fees charged by Vendio
c. Place customer's email on the seller's blocked bidder/purchaser list (that doesn't exist at Vendio).
d. Offer the seller a relist option for auction items.

While the current post-sale management communications are great, they are only focused toward successful transactions with good customers.

Thanks for your consideration,

Greg,

We are in agreement once again as we seem to be judging from the posts I see that you've made. Sorry you still can't get your .csv files to work in your version of Excel. Vendio would do well to take a look at the well thought out plan of attack Greg has detailed in his post. I have not had a problem with deadbeats this year since I've just recently re-opened my store, but I did have orders that were not paid for and not responded to last year several times. I'm sure that Vendio support staff will have to answer repeated questions on these boards from newbies that don't know enough to restock manually, etc.

Best regards,

Matt

I have the same guy buying the same item and is a deadbeat.

He must either be incredible dumb or just having fun buying but not paying for the same thing over and over.

His email is bogus so he would not get any of the stuff Greg is talking about but I would love to block him as I am tired of putting that item back in inventory.
