I have several categories in my store with general items listed under them. It would make the items more easily accessible to potential buyers if there were sub-categories under the main category that they could go directly to instead of looking through every item under the main category listing. An example is I have many different animal figurines. Have that category broken down into different animals such as cats, dogs, birds, etc...
I have those categories separated right now but they are listed in alphabetical order and not under a general category so a buyer has to scroll my entire category list to find "Wolves" and so on.

Pleeeeese add sub catagories. I have the same problem. It would so much neater to have subs. The way I do it now some of my description doesn't even show.
I would also like to be able to put an item in more than one catagory.
I will forward your suggestion to Product Development. In the meantime, you can get around this by changing the category names to have a general category and a subsection in it -- for example, if you have an Animals category you can do something like Animals - Wolves, Animals - Dogs, Animals - Leopards, and so forth.

Sonya-I have that now but they all go in alphabetical order so if I have cats, wolves, frogs, pigs, etc... they are not under the direct animal category. They are in alphabetical order and spread out so if someone wants to look at wolves, they have to scroll to the bottom of the page. That's why we desperately need subcategories. Thank you.

Hi: I had this problem, last year and did want Sonya suggested and it works pretty well. I sell ads and for example, I have:
Auto
Auto: Cadillac
Auto: Buick
Auto: Lincoln
etc. You get the picture. You can check my site if you want to see how it looks. However, sub categories would be great.

I also would love to have sub categories in my Stores as well as the ability to accept Credit Card payments from some another vendor other than Versign.
