Hi, i would very much appreciate if someone can help me in setting up the data feed to google for the new store.

Hello,

STEP 1: Set up a Google Base account and enter Basic Information (if not already done)

1. Go to www.googlebase.com
2. Click on the "Data Feed" link on the right hand side of the page
3. Log in (if not already logged in) or register for a Google account
4. Under the 'Settings' tab, click on the 'General' filter. Fill out the basic information page. Under Website URL, enter the URL
of your Vendio Store and save changes

STEP 2: Set up an FTP account on Google Base

1. In Google Base, click the Settings tab
2. Click on the "FTP account" filter
3. Enter an FTP username and password (Please note that the FTP username should be different from your Google username.)

STEP 3: Register a Data feed for Vendio in Google Base

1. In Google Base, click on the My Items tab (next to Settings)
2. Click on the "Data feeds" filter
3. Click on the "New Data Feed" button. You will be taken to the Basic Information page. After confirming / editing information
on this page, click "Next" on the bottom of the page.
4. Target country will, in most cases, be United States (unless you prefer Germany or UK.)
5. Specify the Data feed filename. You may use whatever filename you want, but it must have a .txt file extension. You will need
to enter the same filename in your Vendio account. You might want to use your Vendio Store name in the filename to ensure it will
be unique.
6. Click the "Register data feed" button

STEP 4: Enter the FTP and File name details in your Vendio account
Once the Google Base FTP account is created and data feed is registered, you will need to enter the following details in your
Vendio account to activate the feed. To do this:

1. Login to your Vendio account
2. Go to Channels > Comparison Shopping (-OR- go to Store Tools > Channel Manager if you don't have a Channels menu)
3. Click on "Set up Google Product Search Account" link
4. Enter your Google Base FTP username, FTP password, and Data feed filename you entered in your Google Base account setup (you may notice that the FTP server name is be different than the one specified on Google, however, the feed will still work.)

Once this has been set up, click "Distribute items" link in the Actions column on the Vendio Comparison Shopping (or Channel Manager) page. You can select the items you want to send to Google Product Search by checking the box next to each item, selecting Google, and clicking "Distribute". Note that feeds are submitted every 24 hours at no set time, so it may take up to a day for changes or additions to be reflected on Google.
