I wanted to know if it is just me or any one else have the same problem ??
I am listing on the new site {{ free store }}and after a while my computer comes to a crawl ??
I could list 15 - 20 items on Vendio and for the same amount of time .... I can go to another site and list 3 times as many and not have a problem on that site.
Whats up with this ???
It has happened more then once...
I am about ready to close the store and say to heck with it ???
It is a free store.. but am spending 3 times the time needed for listing.
This is the first we've heard of any such issue where the speed would slowly decrease over time. Perhaps there is something on the site causing your browser cache to slow the loading on the Vendio pages. When this happens next, see if you can instantly eliminate the issue by simply deleting the temp files and moving forward again like it was your first item and let us know the results.
This has happened on another computer as well... as I have some one doing some listings for me.. as this has happened to her also...
So it is not just me ??????
I do deleat all of my files and clean my cache even beore coming to Vendio and then I have to do it when I am done.... as I can not go on to do any thing else....
I will let you know when it happens again...
I am going to sit awahile right now.. and when I get back to listing more items.. I will let you know.what happens.
This is on the new platform {{ the free store }} not the old one.. did not have a problem on the old one...
Sorry to bump an old post but I'm having a similar problem. It seems like my connection time has increased since I started the store.
It takes awhile to connect to the main domain (chompdecals.com). I've tried it on both Firefox and IE with same results.
The only thing I could think of was that I have the vendio installed on my own webspace and this is causing some sort of delay in connection.
Have any ideas? Thank you.
Edit:
I just tried the vendio address (http://www.vendio.com/stores/ChompDecals) and the connection is also slow.

The speed of the loading of the site should be the same when viewed directly at the true URL or the hosted domain (it shouldn't matter if it's registered from Vendio or elsewhere really.)
To confirm your just talking about loading up your store URL, and not running into a new issue with the speed of the site when your working on it from the editor correct?
If so, what sort of speed are you seeing currently, or when your having issues with it?
When I checked the URL you mentioned above, from the moment I click 'enter' on my keyboard, after pasting in that URL, to the time the site is done loading - it took me about 5.9 seconds.

Yes, I am talking about loading up the Store URL and not working on it within Vendio.
After reading your response I went to load up the site. On my first attempt it took about roughly a minute and this is what I came up-
http://www.chompdecals.com/images/chompdecals.jpg
My second attempt was about 5 seconds or so and my third was about 3.2 seconds. Which is good, but more often it sits around double that, 10+ seconds or so.
I know it's not my connection because I can open up google, do a search and open up site that I've never been to before with no delays.
I just did a fourth try and it took 7 seconds.
*shrug* I thought maybe there was some known issue. I guess it just varies, I'm just use to most sites popping up instantly that mine seems slow. Thank you for the quick reply Christopher.
