I currently have a merchant Account and a new gateway that I would like to have setup here in my store. I have looked fairly well throughout the program and can not find the area to install the gateway.
Can you assist me on this?
Thanks

Hello,
The two credit card gateways we currently support are Authorize.net and the PayFlowPro system from PayPal. You can setup your account details for them by adding credit cards as a payment method in one of your payment profiles.
Unfortunately those are the only two credit card processing gateways that we are setup to support at this time.

Chris

Thanks Chris. Yes the gateway I have is through Authorize.net so I will do as you suggested. I tried to find the payment profile area yesterday and could not locate it. I think I can edit a listing and then edit it but would I have to do this for all my items one at a time? Ideally I would like to just edit the profile and have it curate over to all the listings. Is this possibly?

Thanks Chris. I have figured out how to add my gateway to a shipping profile and it seems like it did curate to a listing I tested.
My problem now seems to be that the default payment method is still set to Paypal with Credit Cards as a secondary method. I would like to make Credit Cards as the default method and Paypal as a secondary method. How would I do this?
The whole point in getting the gateway installed here is to minimize unpaid shopping carts, which I had a lot of during the holiday season. Buyers just get lost when they get redirected to paypal, and they either forgot there PW or have an expired CC and get lost trying to update info. All these things are what I want to avoid happening in the future

My account is in Test mode with the gateway (authorize.net) I have done a number of tests and they are not working correctly. I went back to authorize.net and asked about the process and it seems I am doing things correctly. I went back into my payment profile and re-entered the correct info, and tried to do some more testing and the error message still comes up. It should be saying something like the transaction has been submitted, but I am getting a error message:
Credit Card Processing Error for order
Failed to process payment for the order

Hello,
The transactions will continue to fail as long as the Authorize.net account is still in test mode unfortunately.
It looks like you have a total of 3 payment profiles currently. If you wanted to switch all of your items to use your most recent one with only credit card payments accepted, click the top box on the My Items page to select all items. This will load up everything for editing in the bulk editor on the right. (be careful here, there is no undo if you change something you didn't want to.)
Next, select the payment profile in the bulk editor that you want all items to start using and save the changes. This will update all of your listings to use this new payment profile instead.

Chris

Thanks Chris. Yes I figured out that since I was getting an e-mail from authorize.net it was going through to them. I have taken the gateway out of test mode, and tried again and everything went through as it should have.
I was just sitting thinking that I will have to edit each listing individually, so thanks for the tip on the bulk editor.
Thanks again for your input.

I would also like to install the verified Authorize.net seal. Could you assist me with this. I already have the HTML code to install, just not sure where to put this code?

Hello,
You may add this code to your Store by going to "Stores" --> "Template Editor" --> click where you would like to add the code and select "Edit Content". Before you paste in the code be sure that you have switched to HTML mode if necessary (using the "Source Edit" button near the top right of the content box).

Thanks Nathan. After trying several different ways to show the logo. I have decided that it should only go on the checkout page.
Basically the logo is a click logo that gives the user a pop-up menu that explains what authorize.net is and tells the user to verify that this is a secured page by looking for the https at the beginning of the url. The only page that I have secured is the checkout page, so this is really the only place this should be used.
I have tried to edit the checkout page through the template editor, but I do not seem to have a way to add the authorize.net html code.
Any suggestions?

Hello,
Unfortunately, the checkout page is the one area where there isn't much customization available. It is not possible to add the logo to the checkout page.
