To whom it may concern,
I am writing to address the serious limitations of your customer manager in its current form. Furthermore, I would like suggestions from other vendio customers concerning customer manager alternatives. Have you found an online auction-based email client that functions any better?
1.) SPELL CHECK – This issue needs to be addressed immediately. In order for vendors to project a professional image it is paramount that your email client catch typos and misspellings. In a previous customer service reply, it was suggested that the user cut and paste the text of the email into Word to solve the spell check problem. This suggestion is unbelievably arrogant. I am paying Vendio $300 a year for the use of its email client. I expect its services to make responding to my customers more streamlined and productive. Not more cumbersome.
2.) SHARING DATA FROM THE SALES MANAGER - This issue is completely self-explanatory. What is the use of this bulky rigid program if it cannot simply share information already collected from other vendio services.
3.) CUT AND PASTE – Currently it is not possible to copy text from the reply window. This is a basic word processing function that one would not expect to have to request.
4.) OTHER BASIC EMAIL CLIENT FUNCTIONS – These include the ability to copy and easily forward messages. An address book also seems obvious. One should be able to mark messages and “read” and “unread.” Once messages have been replied to they should be COPIED into the customer manager database leaving the original to filed in a user inbox as needed. I am particularly vexed that messages disappear into the Vendio netherworld once I have replied to them. Messages should stay put and be marked as “replied” like every other email client in the world. This should be an optional setting.
In order for my company to continue to use your services, I expect a reply that includes the specific date that these limitations will be addressed.
Thank you for all of your suggestions. I have passed them on to Product Development for review. Unfortunately I cannot provide a date that these will be addressed.
Customer Manager is a fairly new feature from earlier this year. These suggestions are much appreciated -- as you know we make our changes based on customer feedback on our products.
