I currently use mailstep for all my vendio interactions with customers, as well as my ebay email and paypal account...is something happening to that or is it all still okay? I don't want to use customer manager. It is awful in my opinion.

Mailstep is not being discontinued, you can still use it. It will work as it always had. Would you mind letting us know what problems you had with Customer Manager?
