Is it me or does yahoo have the worst search in the auctions. Talk about getting a bunch of garbage! You type in a word and you are even lucky to get what your looking for!

If you combine a few important words with AND in the search you
will find the results are much
better.

Item I was looking for about a month ago - using the very same search terms :

Amazon Auctions & zShops : 1,000 matches, none relevant

Gold's Auction : No items in the entire category - & no matches in a site wide search

egreed (ebay) : site was down (I intended to email the seller asking for a end of auction deal - no way will I bid on egreed - and I am not NARU)

Yahoo : found the item - bid on it and got it for 1/4 retail - excellent item (I was prepared to buy the item at retail price locally the next day)

Actually, I have had really good results with Yahoo search, think theirs is one of the better ones, and really like the set up with their version of personal shopper. In fact, as far as features go, I think they are the overall best site, now all we need is a few more bidders!. Haven't done too many listings anywhere for the past year, but have sold things on Yahoo that didn't sell on eBay, and above my desired price. I think you just need to hit the right niches. Never had a deadbeat buyer or seller, but we are just talking a handful of auctions here.
