Charging is not the end of the world, HOWEVER, I don't want to pay unless the bidding traffic is there like it is at ebay, so I will just stay there I guess. Things can't be free forever tho.

The idea behind free services is that the advertising attracted pays for the service and provides the profit.

Obviously, for some reason, YooHoo's advertising base may be dropping off, and they're starting to hurt for bucks.

This is probably due to so many competing e-mail, message board and search engine providers entering the market. YooHoo WAS the premier site for a lot of these free services.

YooHoo's search engine alone can't produce results like the new generation.

The site overall is slowly falling behind the available technologies and services, and when that happens, paying advertisers begin to migrate.

That's my theory, anyway.
