January 10th, 2001 - The Day Yahoo Commits Suicide!

Looks like you're right! They need to see how much comes rolling in before they decide they made a mistake. The few dozen people that even KNOW about these boards probably haven't a clue that this whole idea is going to ruin Yahoo
How dippy can they be? The FVF choice would have tripled their take----if they could take "greed-control" pills.
The day they announced it I let 90% of my auctions run out...and did not relist. I'm sure they get some what of a drift on that - if enough people did it. Although, did sell some on ebay - but it's a total nut house over there too.
People fighting on the boards-- turning each other in -- auctions being squashed by ebay-- this whole mess has gotten way out of hand.
Each auction site has tried to exploit the sellers - and what they don't realize is we are not "off the farm" type of people. I hope they have their nickel/dime counters ready and raring to go......We'll know very quickly - by the numbers. I do believe it will drive many back to ebay.....at least by "accident" we manage to sell there!
