I have listed several items on yahoo. It says that the first image will be the thumbnail, but when I go to see my thumbnails, there are none, when I have about ten or so auctions running.

You have to upload your image to yahoo servers while listing to get the thumbnail. If you just put the image in your html description you will not get the thumb.

I am using the yahoo option of uploading images. I am not using an outside source for hosting my images, i.e. not html. That's why I don't understand what's going on.

what's your yahoo auctions name and I'll take a look. I have no problem with the thumbnails.
If you under my auctions/selling and or closed you won't see the thumbnails but on your open auctions listing page you should
for example
http://auctions.yahoo.com/user/criticschoicecards?

replace my username with yours

is that where your looking?
