I have waited several weeks for a payment from a buyer overseas (UK). He claims he sent it out (cash). Now he's making noises like he may not have sent it or IF he did and I didn't receive it, we should just forget the whole thing!!!
How would you handle this situation?? He is also a seller with a pretty good feedback, but I just don't like the tone of his emails.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Let it go. Leaving negative feedback is asking to get a neg feedback. Even if someone is totally wrong and admits it they are likely to retaliate with a neg feedback to you. And that is NEVER worth it. You might ask him to send a dollar or two to cover your expenses, maybe he'll send it.
Good Luck.
By the way, if you are a Yahoo seller please give this exact auction it's third "neighborhood watch" (black mark) for listing many many duplicate auctions. Here is the link. Make sure to do it to this one though and not one of the duplicates.
Thank you very much

It's been a while since I got any UK payments but I'm pretty sure they always arrived within 6-10 days. Packages are slow but letters are generally quick. At least he's not accusing you of stealing his money. I don't see much you can do since he won't agree to re-pay (or pay if he did forget). I would file NPB with a paste of his let's forget it answer so you can get your fees back. I wouldn't neg unless he negged me first.

Funny how many Yahoo payments get lost in the mail, on ebay I don't get any! I had a UK byer who didn't send payment, and I sent him an email voiding the sale. He yelled back, "I sent the payment last week, quit hounding me." Months later it still hasn't arrived.

Treat this person as a lier until proven otherwise. Give him a big fat neg! You can always change the feedback if payment shows up.
