Well, I guess the old saying is those who forget the past are condemmed to repeat it". When I used to sell exclusively at yahoo, nothing but deadbeats, as they averaged out of ten. when yahoo implimented a fee, I went to ebays. sure ebays have alot of deadbeats too, but most dont give retalitory feedback, and when filing fvf, they dont say a word.

well on the free submission day, I posted 200 auction, only 3 gotten a bid, and 1 of them still hasnt responded to my EOA email. however one who bidded 120.00 on this rare widget emailed me this when I sent them my EOA...

Hi

I'm not sure what you are referring too. This must be the wrong address. Sorry.

-----

so I emailed this person telling them your email shows as the winner.I even gave the person the link to the closed auction. then i get this...

---

Sorry for whatever trouble you have, but I still do not know what you are referring to. I am not familiar with this item or bid. As far as I know nobody n my family bid on this item. Hope it all works out.

----

Oh well, I said to myself. noticed yahoo has a similar to ebay where you can get the FVF back, so I filed NPBA, and I get this..
---

I don't know what auction you are talking about, I hardly ever use yahoo auctions. I don't know how my email address was the winning bid. If you want to file a complaint then that's fine, like I said I never use yahoo auctions. I expect that I will not receive any further email from you about this matter, or else you will hear from my attorney, and I will let yahoo notifiy about your non stop harrasement!

Geez! well what would you guys do? I do like to get my money/fvf back from yahoo.

Wow! I think you and I have had the same bidder!

Mine did a BUY NOW and immediately started blaming it on Yahoo. Said she didn't enter that price only the start bid. She demanded I cancel the bid IMMEDIATELY! I actually give her the benefit of the doubt because she is the 3rd person in less than 10 days who has had a problem with the BUY NOW feature.

I emailed her and explained that in order to get my FVF back, I needed to follow the steps outlined by Yahoo and they really don't make any allowances for mistakes, muturally agreed upon cancellations or refunds and according to their tutorial on the matter I had to wait 10 days for a link to appear and notify them that payment had not been received and then wait another 10 days for an escalate link to appear to move on toward my goal of re-capturing my FVF.

She was NOT a happy camper so I started emailing Yahoo non-stop until I finally got an email telling me I could go ahead and cancel the bid and that a request for credit had been sent. I waited until that credit appeared and then I cancelled her bid.

I have another one now, she is from the UK and didn't bother to inform me of that. I sent the EOA with the final price including the US shipping and she made a payment with PayPal (that's how I found out she isn't from USA) and the address furnished ISN'T confirmed and she only sent enough for me to mail it within the USA.

I checked her FB and she received a NEG just today from a seller who said that he clearly stated in his auctions he did NOT sell Internationally and that he would change his rating as SOON AS SHE CHANGED HERS. I checked and sure enough she had NEGGED this seller (who had NONE before hers) and commented that she "detested" sellers who cancel bids AFTER the auction closes. The seller responded that he does not sell Int'l and she had negged him for no other reason than he had cancelled the bid to re-list!

I did not know that once a bidder is cancelled they can still leave FB!

I did not mean to ramble, I just have not had too good of luck the past week with my bidders!

Keep sending emails to [email protected] and put in the subject line something about needing to cancel a bidder who claims Yahoo messed up sooner than 10 days.

You'll get a couple of canned responses, but just re-send them and add REQUEST FOR HELP #2, #3 ECT. until someone finally just goes ahead and puts in for your refund.

I really wish Yahoo would add a way to cancel winners and let you get your fee back so you can move on and re-list. TIME IS MONEY!
