5200 items listed
200+ bids
40+ buy-it-nows.
Which ain't bad at 5%, but there's still 8.5 days to go (14 days version).
I wish Yahoo would eliminate the listing fees and implement a more serious FVF. I could list a lot more, and Yahoo would get a bigger percentage. My items are low-value, but obviously, they count up in quantity.
It just depends on what you list. If all you put up was stuff that doesn't sell on eBay, well...

I have 162 listings-three bids. One is from a bidder with a -1 feedback. The bidder got the negative 6 months ago. Any suggestions about what to do about it? I could end the auction early.

How much do you expect the item to sell for?
Unless you are really concerned about the FVF, I would probably give the guy a chance.
But it also depends on the WORDING of that neg. If he's a nutcase or crook, then cancel hs bid and place him on your blacklist.

Most sellers ban bidders that have less than a zero feedback rating. Ebay allows them ( less than zero feedback users ) to bid away till they hit -4 or get suspended.

blairwitch I have 40 items running, I listed stuff that I thought should sell. I could have slammed a few hundred but after Yahoo killed my category I figured why waste too much time over there.

In regard to the bidder with the -1 rating bidding on my item. The item is at $16.00 at present. When I submit an auction to Yahoo, I leave the default of 0 for the minimum bidder rating. According to Yahoo anyone with a negative rating isn't supposed to be able to bid. Can anyone explain?
This is the bad feedback rating left for this bidder by the seller:
Sellers Beware!I answered buyers emails, her antivirus returns ALL my emails as undeliverable.NO reason for nasty feedback she left me.

Sometimes when you list on Yahoo the (0) default turns into a (-1) for some odd reason. Must be a glitch but every so often it happens. I usually check the rating box when I list to make sure the glitch didn't occur. I've caught it in time a few times.

At first glance, since it very well could have been a problem with his/her e-mail, that I would tend to give her a chance. A single feedback of -1 only means ONE problem, ever. People often mess up their first transaction or don't understand the process. I usually allow -1 bidders the opportunity.
But then you get to the part where the buyer left the seller bad feedback for not contacting her. She/He obviously understands THAT much of the process at least.
I'd dump her in a heartbeat after reading that. Being nice is a good thing, but not to someone who is LIKELY to cost you feedback.

Listed 178. 12 BIN's 6 with bids on items I consider slow moving to begin with. Not bad with 4 days to go yet. I figure most of the bids as in the past will come in the last 36 hours anyway.

Well I had 10 sell by bids and 3 sell off site because the buyers didn't want to give Yahoo thier credit card number to bid. So I guess it wasn't a total waste of time.
I can only guess what might have sold if Yahoo had not deleted my category.
