I got a notice that a buyer had sent payment through paydirect. But when I went to my account, no money there, no record of the transaction at all. Is this a new form of fraud, like the paypal imitation letters, or problems with paydirect? anyone else have this happen yet?

Go back in and check it again. Check the page closely. There is a place to "accept" the money. Then it will show you have a balance after you have accepted it.

I've used paydirect before, so i know you have to accept it-as I said, there is no record of the transaction at all.

Just a thought....did you check to make sure your e-mail address on the e-mail is exactly the same as the one on your PayDirect account? Haven't heard of it happening on PayDirect yet....but with all the problems PayPal has had with it...you never know.

I wrote the customer and let her know-no reply yet! I use paydirect quite a bit, just got a payment a couple of minutes ago, so I know that my address is not the problem. Either paydirect has a glitch, or someone is sending forgeries..

I didn't think your address would be the problem, just thought maybe the bidder made a minor typo in your address (like a period or something) like PayPal was having problems with.
