Hi. I tried using paydirect for the 1st time. Each time I try to send a bill, I get the error message: email address needs to be confirmed and I get redirected to the auction page. I don't see anything there to help and haven't found anything in doing a help search. I've sold on Yahoo for quite a few months but this is the first time trying to use Paydirect. My buyer has requested a bill and I hate to have him wait for however many days it's going to take yahoo to answer. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I had basically the same problem when I first signed up. I never got an e-mail confirmation from them and couldn't send a bill. I e-mailed them and asked them to resend it. They never did resend it, and never replied to my e-mail. I waited a couple of days after I sent the e-mail tried again and it worked and haven't had any problems since. I guess they considered the e-mail I sent them good enough for confirmation. You might just keep trying every day or so and see if it starts working.

I don't know if this is the problem or not but Yahoo has been very funky this morning. It seems to be working better now.

I don't know if this is the situation in your case, but it could very well be. It may be referring to your e-mail address in your 'Contact' profile. Go to 'Options', then 'Edit contact information'. In your member profile next to your e-mail address if it states 'unverified' next to your e-mail address, that is your problem.

There will be a link there to click on to get it 'verified'. And e-mail will be sent to that address with a link attached. You merely go to that link and put in your password, and it will then be verified.

I hope this helps you, Charlie

Thanks for all your help...so far no go. Charlie, I did as you suggested and it does not say unverified. My buyer is a newbie and I hate for there to be any difficulties. Thanks for trying to help.
