A deadbeat bidder (from back in July, no less) left retaliatory feedback for me yesterday evening in which he called me an a**hole, so I reported him to Yahoo Member Conduct http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/abuse/cgi_abuse.
When I logged on today my comments on his feedback were intact, but the entire feedback he left for me---negative rating and all comments, including the "ugly word"---were COMPLETELY GONE from my feedback history. I couldn't believe it!!! Someone really IS behind the machines at Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!
I only wish they were as quick to remove "terms of use" violation auction listings as they were to remove his comment from my feedback!!!
While I'm wishing, I might as well wish for the default listing order to be put back the way it was, to "ending order"....and for Yahoo to revamp their categories to something logical, useful and WORKABLE, instead of the mess they have now with dozens of needless and often unused subcategories (like videotapes and Beanies) taking the place of countless DESPERATELY NEEDED areas for antiques and collectibles.
Since it doesn't appear Yahoo plans to "fix" either the listing order OR the category problems, I guess I'll have to just keep wishing........
I wonder if the live person who edited my feedback could be bribed to work on all the rest?????????
