I just got my first negative feedback. I have over 300 happy buyers who have rated me always with excellent. The neg came from a bidder who already has 8 negative feedbacks out of 21 transactions.

I have searched through the Yahoo feedback info area and can't find this answer. You may have covered this topic at AW, but I can't find it. Thanks for any info you have regarding this.

I have known people to have a -50 and -60 on yahoo auctions and still be buying and selling but this has changed no some with the 1000 auction a month limit since you gain listing for postives and lose listing for neg feed back.

There's a blatant thief on Yahoo with a -42 fb. I think they're in prison now, so at least they're not selling. ;!

You probably have to notify them - just like Ebay.

Thanks to all for your feedback. VM, I did report the buyer and got what looks like a canned response. We'll see.

In the meantime, the nonpayer, recontacts me and states they would like to work the situation out in a positive way. I responded in like manner. I then see that the bidder has continued to make unkind feedback comments at the auction feedback area. My first crazy!

I don't know the procedure or the criteria, but I have seem plenty of feedback comments removed and replaced with "comment deleted because user has poor feedback" or something to that affect.
Again, I don't *know* but them may go in and zap and they may have a stack of them and so a delay. Kind of like a high volume seller that leaves fb once a week.
Gook luck.

I gave up notifying Yahoo about the high negs and just placed this loser into my blacklist

Update: The problem bidder notified me today that they would really like to work things out (I'd already responded that I would, and resent my address). The bidder states that someone reported them to Yahoo and they could no longer bid due to violation of TOS. The bidder further states, "Do you have any information about this because Yahoo will not tell who or why."

I responded exactly as I had previously, without comment regarding the Yahoo block.

"Thanks for contacting me. I work very hard at providing excellent service and products. I'm including the original email sent to you for the winning bid, and if you still want the *****, we will fulfill our commitments.
Regards, ****."

I have just received another request for my address from this person. That will be a total of 3 different times that I have provide it, and one being TODAY. What gives??

One negative is starting to look good, as opposed to trying to deal with this person. Also, I'm glad to see that Yahoo actually responds to requests to take a look at a problem bidder's record.
