I was surfing around my auctions today when I was looking at a person that bid on one of my auctions. It has been awhile so I went to look at his feedback. He has 2 positives 1 was bought. For .25 you can now buy postive feedback on Yahoo. That is enough to make me pack my bags and leave. I have worked hard for all me 318 positive and I never ask for feedback. I figure if the person thinks I deserve it then they will leave it. Now for just a mere .25 cents you can buy it. The feedback was left November 17 of this year.

That can't be right. Are you sure you don't mean that the person imported feedback from elsewhere so they could feature an auction?
Otherwise, that's one for the books. I agree. I'm working very hard to earn my feedbacks and will continue doing it the hard way.

Verymodern One of the sellers on Yahoo he/she is a newbie
I would put the link to the auction here but we aren't allowed to do this are we? Let me go find it again. I guess it is a free market and anything goes. . . I am still shaking me head.
Here is how it reads " Need Positive Feedback? For only 0.25 I will give you a positive feedback. OK HERES HOW IT WORKS I WILL START AN AUCTION FOR 25 CENTS AND IF YOU PLACE A BID I WILL GIVE YOU A POSITIVE FEEDBACK!! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SEND ME 25 CENTS. IF YOU WIN FIVE I WILL ONLY CHARGE YOU $1. GET A GREAT RATING WITHOUT SPENDING LOTS OF $$$$$. I WILL PUT A BUY PRICE OF 25 CENTS AND WHEN I RECIEVE PAYMENT I WILL PLACE POSITIVE FEEDBACKS. THANKS."
Are you sure you don't mean that the person imported feedback from elsewhere so they could feature an auction?"
No nothing to do with that. That was good deal though wasn't it : ). Got me 519.00 for featured auctions on Yahoo. I never tried to feature before but now with all those credits to play with I will.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY ALL !!
(just in case I don't make it back until after Ham day : )

This same thing has been going on on eBay also. When they are reported they are stopped dead. It has been talked about on many ebay boards. It is a shame a few have to wreck it for everyone.

Feedback should not be allowed on items bought or sold at under $1.01
New user wants feedback fast, so he/she wins 5 different auctions from different sellers at under $0.50each so he/she hopefully will receive CHEAP feedback, got it
Feedback should Not be allowed on under $1.01 items, it is to easy for potential scammers to get fast feedback cheap.
