I have switched to the Sales Manager Inventory Edition. I don't like it. The tutorial instructs to import my Ebay listings, however, it appears that all of my Ebay listings are already there. Also, I am confused as to how to create a new Ebay listing using the Inventory Edition. Does it have to be so complicated? The other Edition was very easy. Please advise-thanks.

Hello Dorrie,

Well, there is no denying that there's a bit of a learning curve as SMME is based more on specific auctions and SMIE is an inventory specific resource. I'll be happy to email you some more in depth details on creating new inventory items.

Yes, please do e-mail instructions for creating new Ebay ads. Also, what is the answer to my question-do I have to import my Ebay ads. They already appear to be there at Vendio. Thanks

Hello,

Yes, you will want to trigger an import when you first switch over.
At the very top of your Sales Manager Inventory Edition page, there should be some help guides/PDF's that you can use to walk through this process more easily.

-Thanks for the kudos, Airsoft = )

Doris: did you get the email I sent in regards to getting started with SMIE? Are there any other questions that you have as to how it works?

I am still having problems. I have tried to create an Ebay ad for my Ebay Store. The statement comes on that there are errors. I think that I have corrected some of them. The one still in red is the one for the category numbers. How do I know what the Ebay Category numbers are? I have typed in the Ebay Store category. It is still asking for the Ebay category numbers. This is the ad for the green Georgian Lovebirds sugar. At this rate I will go broke, as, I cannot create an ad.

I think that I have finally figured how to create an Ebay listing using the Inventory Edition. However, the Ebay Store listings are being created for 30 days when my specifics are for good til canceled. How can I correct this?

Also, it is time consuming to have go to another screen to add an Ebay Gallery photo. It would be so much easier to be able to add it when adding the other photos for that particular ad.

Also, the full text for listing the ad does not fit on my screen. I have to continually manually scroll over to see the full text. This is time consuming.

Altogether, it takes me longer to create an Ebay ad using this Inventory Edition.

Hello,

1. Are the listings showing as Good 'Til Cancelled in eBay? Your Good 'Til Cancelled eBay Store listings will show as 30 day listings in your Vendio account. This is because you are charged a listing fee every 30 days for these listings. By counting down from 30 days you can tell when you are going to be charged another listing fee. If the listings were successfully scheduled as Good 'Til Cancelled, then they will start counting down from 30 days again once they finish counting down the first time.

2. We are planning on allowing you to set your preferences to automatically use the first image in your listing as the eBay Gallery image, in the near future. Hopefully this feature will make it easier for you.

3. Which text exactly are you referring to? It sounds like the font size in your browser settings may be set too large. You might want to try reducing the font size in your browser and see if this makes a difference.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Regards,
Nathan

I have four items to relist on Ebay as the buyers did not send payment. I applied for the Final Value Fee at Ebay. How do I relist those items using Vendio? Also, I would like to get the Vendio sales fee refunded for those items. How is that done? Thanks

Hello,

You can relist these listings by selecting them in your Post Sale and clicking "Relaunch".

You may request a refund for each line item by taking the following steps:

1. Go to My Account -> Online Statement. Locate the line item for the fee (note the line item must be for the fee and not the actual charge), and highlight and copy the Ref ID number.

2. Open a separate browser window. Paste the below URL into the browser's address bar. Note that this URL can be found on our site by clicking the "Got questions about this statement?" link on your statement, and scrolling to the "Does Vendio provide refunds?" section.

https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

Paste the Ref ID from your statement into the form, and proceed to submit your refund request. We will be handling refunds on a case-by-case basis, so please be as clear and concise as possible in detailing the reason for your request. Please be sure to copy and paste the line item from your eBay statement showing the FVF credit when you submit your request.

Regards,
Nathan
