I am attempting to change my international shipping to calculated rates via USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail with a fixed $3 markup. I launched my first item on ebay (auction #320139825216), but the shipping that Vendio is calculating is too high. For example, when you select Germany as the shipping destination Vendio shows a shipping cost of $35 for Global Priority Mail. When I check the USPS website they show a rate of $30.40 which should mean with my mark up that the cost should be $33.40. Express to Germany shows up at $46.25 while the USPS website shows $39.79 which should mean with my mark up that the cost would be $42.79. The package weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces and the dimesions are 12.5*15.5*3 inches. Can anyone explain the difference to me? Thanks in advance! Pacific Shoes & Apparel

Hello,

I checked the USPS website and it is agreeing with the Vendio calculator. I entered the following information into the USPS website for an international shipping quote:

- Destination: Germany
- Shape: Package
- Weight: 3 pounds, 3 ounces

The USPS websites gives the following quote:

Priority MailŪ International: $32.00
Express MailŪ International: $43.25

The Vendio calculator gives the following quote:

USPS Priority Mail Intl: $35.00
USPS Express Mail Intl: $46.25

When you add the $3.00 markup to the USPS quote, the USPS website and the Vendio calculator agree.

Regards,
Nathan

Thanks Nathan for your quick reply. I looked again this morning and now see what the issue is. The USPS website has two different rates ~ one for paying in the post office and one for paying on-line. I use the on-line rates, but Vendio picks up the rates you pay when you actually go into the post office. I just need to factor the difference into my mark up I guess. Thanks again for your help! Kathy
