I have searched the shipping tabs within my inventory items, but I cannot figure out how to offer free shipping for an eBay item. In the pull-down menu, I see where I can offer free shipping when it's purchased with Buy It Now, or as a Vendio store item, but how do I offer free shipping for an auction item (when BIN is *NOT* used? I tried simply selecting "fixed" shipping, and then entering "zero," but I got an error message when trying to launch it. Please help!
When you edit the item, go to the Payment and Shipping tab to edit the carriers/costs. Set the shipping to Fixed shipping and simply set the value to 0.00 and eBay will display it as free.
If you wanted to set it up for calculated shipping (to export later) but make the cost free for your buyer, then go to the Site Specifics tab and edit the 'Checkout' column. Here there is a box to check that says to offer free shipping on the first selected carrier.
