I have been creating templates for Ebay sales since before Andale even came to be! Most hundreds of my auction items were created using these templates. zwhen I go to MY ITEMS, It takes a while to load, and only shows a very FEW items I have sold over the years. (I've sold several hundred/thousand in the 7-8 years with Vendio. Why can I only gain access to/view a couple, and most of those ad listers/creators end up showing the wrong catagory in their templates. Things are so messed up, it would have been easier for my to learn how to list straight through ebay and drop the $35.00 extra month torture I've gone through this week. Where can all my auctions be? When doing a SEARCH under the MY ITEMS tab (and some times under (old) SALES ARCHIVE they fail tp shpw up there as well. what can be done?

Hello,

I am sorry for the trouble you are having with the new version of our services. It looks like you were creating multiple ads within one inventory item for different physical items. Please note that it is best to create separate inventory items when it is for separate physical items. Multiple ads within one inventory item are best if it is the same physical item that you are listing in different ways.

I have asked our engineers to separate out the ads for you, so that they are separate inventory items, and we will let you know once this is done.

Regards,
Nathan

I am having a hard time finding my old templates. Also if possible can I go back to the old system. We are having a very difficult time creating ads. With andale it was very quick with this it is taking way too much time

I agree. I wish we could go back to the "Old Way" of doing things. I realize companies upgrade & make new changes to eventually draw more people in & provide more options (AND, if I had more than one Ebay seller ID now, or sold through different vendors, what's new with Vendio could be a nice change).

But time is money, I don't have all day to sit & try to locate all my already established templates I used for years.
I'm actually contemplating something I've thought about for years......
Just sell directly through Ebay and save a bunch of (wasted) money every month!

I have not been able to list a single item on eBay, update and past listing, access and update any previous item since change.

Your help menu sucks!

I have had to list directly on eBay. Why do I need your service anymore?

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. When you try to list or update an item, what happens that you are unable to do so?

Were you able to load the create items page, where you create new listings off of? (from the My Items - Create Items page.) If not, what step in the process did you get stuck at where you were unable to continue?

If you can provide any details about where you are and where your running into issues we'd be happy to assist.

Regards,
Chris

I did create an item page. When asked if I wanted to launch now I answered yes but nothing ever happened.

In the past I could choose any listing I had placed, revise it to the new item then choose "save as". Can I still do that and if so, how. Also, I can't seem to find all of my current and past listings.

Thanks frettedproducts
I agree. Can you say "REBATE" " I definately feel we should be compensated somehow, not only for the extra trouble, but because I'm losing out on creating multiple ads as I once did.

I found that I can go under my previous (closed/successful) sales, and from there be able to pull up Some of the Standard (Old)
Ad templates I once used for my products. I fi had been doing it wrong ALL the time before (which they said was the reason I am unable to pull up more than one template
(a Very New template created RIGHT when the "change over" happened)

Things always worked well for me BEFORE (well, at least it worked) I'm still contemplating where I plan on going from here, if there's no REAL way to help all (others also) problems, and NO rebate, some form of compensation offered, I believe NOW would be the best time to learn how to list, organize, and follow up with customers DIRECTLY through ebay. You realize Ebay NOW offers anything a seller needs. Do you all of you experiencing unresolvable (due to time time-based issues) rstill feel the need for the middle man creating more havoc????

Hello Gayl,

I would be happy to help you with the item you were trying to launch. What is the SKU or title of the item in question, so I can take a look and see what may have kept it from going out?

A quick test you can do on your end as well is to click on the title of the item to edit it. Once your editing it, jump over to the 'eBay info' section using the tab on the left. Scroll to the bottom to see 'more eBay details' and then use the 'preview at eBay' button at the bottom. If there is anything missing or in conflict with an eBay policy or something, this preview should be able to help narrow that down.

But once I know the item your dealing with I can take a look for you as well.

As for using the details of a previous listing to create a new one - no problem. You have two ways to do it, one way would retain the original details and the other would overwrite the original item.

Most users would want to keep the original item the way it is, so just put a check mark next to it and click the 'actions' button at the top of the list of items. From 'actions' choose 'copy' and indicate how many you want. Once you have an exact copy of this item you can click on it to edit it anyway you want, then submit.

If your working on a listing and want to do another one almost exactly like it - use the 'save and clone' button at the bottom of the page. This will save the item your working on currently, then take you into an exact copy of it so you can edit and save/launch as needed.

Please let us know if you have any other questions about the tools that we can assist with.

Regards,
Chris

I gave up trying Vendio after several attempts and just listed about 15 items directly with eBay. That worked fine as long as I treated each as a brand new listing.

Hello,

Im sorry that you ended up having to list your items that way. If you would like help with getting your items posted again from Vendio, id be happy to assist you further.

I did see an attempt to launch an item on the 3rd of this month, should I be using this item to help troubleshoot what would be keeping you from being able to list?

If you prefer to just email me a phone number and I can call and walk you through the process that way instead.

Regards,
Chris
