Hi - I recently switched to free shipping on Ebay. However, Vendio receipts are being sent out that show a shipping charge for their purchases. I've heard from several customers already who were worried or annoyed that I'd apparently gotten more money from them than I should have, so I'd like to either find a way to correct the totals on these emails or stop sending them out altogether.
I've tried going to Items/Preferences and checking "No" for "Send confirmation email to buyer after purchase", but the change does not take effect. The only thing that happens is that the page scrolls up.

Also, I've never gotten an email notifying me of a sale in my Vendio store. As far as I know I've chosen the correct options to have one sent, but none have ever been sent...

Hello,

If you would like to turn off these emails please go to the Orders Preferences page (rather than the Items Preferences page). Then select "Manual" for the "Item Shipped Notice" email. There are a few other emails on this page as well, and you might want to make sure that you have the settings here that you would like.

Also, in order to make sure you are getting a copy of your Vendio Store order emails please check the box for "CC seller on all emails" at the top of the Orders Preferences page. Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.

I haven't gotten any more complaints about the receipts, so I suppose that's taken care of for now. There haven't been any sales on my Vendio store recently so I don't know yet if any sales notices are being sent.

There was one more thing I'd forgotten about. Though I do want to keep sending the "(buyername) Thank your purchase of our item (itemname)" emails, I don't want a copy sent to me. It's just more clutter in an already cluttered inbox. When I try to update the information on the Items Preferences page, as before, nothing happens. Clicking "Save and Close" still does nothing, so updating those options is not possible.

Hello,

It sounds like you are referring to the Buyer Appreciation emails, and this preference is changed from a different page. In order to turn off your copies of the emails, please go to "Customers" --> "Buyer Appreciation" --> "Customize your messages" --> scroll down to the "Message to Buyers" section and uncheck the box for "Send me a copy of each email". Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.
