Hi, I have been using eBay for years, but I now want to expand using Vendio into Amazon as well. My problem is that I have no clue where to start. I have about 400 store listings, all of which are designed for use on eBay. While Vendio can import all these listings, I'm still very confused as to how it all works. Do the items under "My Items" serve as the templates that get submitted to eBay/Amazon? What information gets submitted in Amazon listings (Since it seems that Amazon listings do not have the same amount of design freedom as eBay). Would it be best to redesign my listings and rebuild them all to fit the Vendio, eBay, and Amazon platforms?

Hello,

Your inventory items in Vendio will have four main sections. One is general and applies to all of the marketplaces, one is specific to eBay, one is specific to Amazon, and one is specific to the Vendio Store. You can place each of your inventory items on any combination of marketplaces, as long as you have a quantity available. Please note that in order to list to Amazon through Vendio you will need an Amazon Seller Central Pro Merchant account.

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the reply. So you're saying that if I wanted to just have one large inventory with which I could list to eBay, Amazon, and Vendio, I would just use the option for the general inventory?

Also, how does the inventory work? For example, if I list something to eBay through Vendio, will the quantity available be updated on my Vendio store? Is the quantity available on Vendio store just whatever's not listed on eBay/Amazon, or do I have to set that quantity as well? Thanks!

Hello,

You have it down perfectly. The answer to all of your questions but the last one (the last part of the last one) is simply - yes.

That's exactly how it works. Whatever quantity available you have left in inventory, once you have posted some of it to eBay and some to Amazon, will be what is left in your Vendio storefront.

This way nothing is ever just sitting on a shelf - if it's not at one of those two markets, it's for sale at least in your Vendio storefront.

Regards,
Chris
