In My Account/post sale management preferences, I attempted changing settings to prohibit ebay customers from receiving Vendio checkout instructions email. where else do I "turn off" out going emails from Vendio? or let me know if they have ceased being sent. a customer received an email from Vendio on 6/30, after I thought I had changed this setting. please advise.
I do see that you have successfully changed your preferences to turn off the emails for your future new inventory items. Please note that this will not turn off the Winning Bidder Notification emails for existing inventory items or existing listings.
In order to turn this off for existing inventory items, please first select the inventory items to edit (note that you may edit up to 50 inventory items in bulk at a time). Then go to the "Payment & Shipping" tab and edit the "Postsale & Checkout" section. Then uncheck the box for "Automatically send Winning Bidder Notification (WBN) when auction closes with a valid winner" and save your changes.
For your active listings, you may turn off the WBN by going to "Sales Manager" --> "Listings" --> "All Active". Then select the listings and click the "Set WBN" button. You will see a column to the right that will show you which items have the WBN turned on. For the ones that have it on, put check marks next to them and click the "On - Off" button.
Note that if it is easier for you, another option is to edit the text of the WBN so that it is less confusing to your buyers (in which case you would not need to go through the process of turning it off). Please let us know should you have any trouble with this.
